Accounts: Import

You can import .FMA files created in FMAudit Central, Viewer or Onsite from the Accounts page.  To navigate back to this page, select Accounts from the Bread Crumb Menu.

Click Import and browse to the .FMA file.  The overwrite flag applies to all data (including audits for the same account), not just to account information.

Central provides options to create a hierarchy with parent and child accounts.  The Parent Account option allows you to specify the parent account to assign to any new accounts which don't already exist in Central.

If logged in as the "Administrator", it's recommend you minimally select the Parent Account at "Main Dealer", in order to make these accounts accessible by Dealer Contact Users (employees).

The Account Owner option allows you to specify a existing dealer user as the owner of any existing accounts already in Central, or any new accounts which don't already exist in Central.

The .FMA file contains the Account Information, Network Settings and Audit History.  You may deselect any of these options during the Import, thereby not over-writing previous account info or settings, or adding audits to the audit history.
